This is Me! I'm Matt.
I am a Minneapolis wedding photographer serving the Twin Cities, greater Minnesota and Wisconsin as well as destination weddings.
As the owner of Camelot Photography, I have photographed over 800 weddings nationally and abroad, encompassing an incredibly wide variety of wedding styles and traditions.
With over 20 years of service, I bring an unrivaled level of confidence, creativity and consistency to my clients. I know how important the images of your big day are to you and I strive to create a fresh and fun approach to each wedding.
I am completely an optimist and a humanist and I love to smile. Being an interloper on a couples best day is never tiring and I truly love being a part of it.
I am also a commercial and travel photographer with assignments and projects in over 37 countries and nearly every state. My images are regularly used for commercial advertising, book covers, editorials, travel guides and catalogues.
When not traveling and making fabulous images, you can most likely find me rock climbing with my family and friends!

Wedding photography is a delicate profession.
In my work, I am witness to situations that require tact and discernment. The trust that the couple gives me is crucial.
I focus on the unexpected, finding authentic moments and new perspectives that allow me to make consistently unique imagery every time.
I'm often invisible, but I can easily move to the front whenever necessary, as in group photos.
I take pictures of weddings from inside the party, not detached from it.
I love to make portraits with a sense of place.
Something that is indicative of who you are.
Building rapport and confidence is integral and I always make sure the bride and groom feel comfortable and appear in the best version of themselves.
I believe that weddings, like our lives, are meant to be meaningful and memorable and fun.

Wedding Photography packages are booked on an hourly basis and are designed to make high quality photography available to most by accommodating weddings of varying sizes and budgets. It also allows to custom build each package to fit individual client needs.

What if we're camera shy?
Don't worry! My natural, candid approach helps even the most camera-shy couples feel comfortable. I'm known for my ability to put people at ease and capture authentic moments. The complimentary engagement session also helps us get to know each other and helps you become more comfortable in front of the camera before your big day.
What happens after the wedding?
You'll receive your professionally edited and color-corrected images via digital download. You'll have full rights to your photos, allowing you to print and share them as you wish. Your online gallery makes it easy to view, share, and order prints of your favorite moments.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely! While I'm based in Minneapolis and regularly photograph weddings throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, greater Minnesota, and Wisconsin, I'm also available for destination weddings worldwide. Contact me for a custom quote for your location.

I work with Landscape Structures as a traveling commercial photographer and normally visit 20+ states per year while documenting their amazing creations.
